Rules: ^-This is a weekly game. There is no inter-week committment or ^ reward. ^-Your first entry counts. If further entries are desired, they ^ must unambiguously state they are a second, third, etc. entry, they ^ are independent, and they require appropriate payments for each. -For each Big 12 football game, pick winners and margin of victory. -Email that to everyone who is playing, must have timestamp before first scheduled kickoff. -I'll send out a group reminder email with games listed sometime the week before if you indicate interest. -You're in when you send everyone your picks, no commitment before that or need to send anyone money before you lose. -Whoever picks the most games right wins. -If there is a tie, whoever picked Iowa State to win wins. -If that is a tie, margin of victory is compared, taking for each game the difference between the picked margin of victory and the actual margin of victory, regardless of who won. The person with the lowest sum of these for all games wins. -If that is a tie, whoever sent their picks in first wins. If this is disputed, all players shall report the time the disputed picks were received by the last mail relay server in the email headers, and these times shall be averaged to detertime the time. ^ -If that is a tie, then it is a tie, and all penalties and ^ rewards shall be equally split between the tied parties. ^ There shall be no skipping of places as is customary in ^ track and field. *-First place, everyone give/send them $5. -If at least four people play, second place still gets no money but doesn't have to pay first place. -If at least 6 people play, second to last place also doesn't have to pay. ^-If at least 8 people play, last place send second place $5 instead of ^ sending it to first place. -Last place also owes first place one beer, to be added to the tab of beers last place owes first place, redeemable at a mutually agreed upon time and place, but no later than the next event at which first and last place are both present, any sporting event is being watched or played, and beer consumption is within the social custom. Last place may, as his sole option, choose to substitute said beer with a drink containing whiskey, optionally ice, and nothing more. Last place should choose a whiskey that is of the utmost quality, and in order to encourage this, First place will have the option to require Last place to aquire and partake in a second serving of whiskey from the same bottle as the first was poured. Whiskey shall be construed to include distilled liquors known as whiskey, whisky, and scotch. ^Lines beginning with ^ are added in this revision.
